Once you book a trip, a $50 deposit is required to hold your date. This deposit will go towards the fee for your day of fishing.
You must provide your own fishing license. They can be purchased online at www.ncwildlife.org.
If you have any allergies, please make me aware in advance, and bring any necessary medications.
Our priorities, in this order, are safety, having a good time, and catching fish. I have the necessary knowledge, equipment, and experience to give you the best possible chance to catch fish. However, be aware that I cannot control the weather, current generation (or lack thereof) and fishing pressure. I will do my best and work as hard as possible.
Please be on time. When we book a trip I take into account past experience and current trends, and I will set up a time and place to meet. Being late can cause us to miss the best bite entirely or to not be able to set up on prime locations. Also, assess your own skill level when booking a trip, and be honest with me about it so that I can make appropriate preparations to insure you have the best day possible. Being inexperienced does not mean you will not catch fish, but I can make your trip more enjoyable if I know what to expect and can plan accordingly.
We provide water, soft drinks, ice, snacks, etc. If you would like anything else please feel free to bring it with you. We provide everything you need (rod, reels, lures, line, life jackets, etc.) that you will need to fish with, but we do not provide raingear. Please bring your own. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment if you are more comfortable with it.
Know what species you want to fish for and let me know up front so I can set up the boat accordingly. However, we can also simply go after whatever is biting at the time.
We run a 2013 Tracker Pro Guide boat, a Mercury 4 stroke outboard, Lowrance electronics, and a Minn Kota trolling motor. We have a multispecies boat for a multispecies operation, and it is exceptionally safe, roomy, and stable.
Fish cleaning services are NOT generally available at this time. Please bring a cooler if you want to keep a portion of your catch.
